LSU Tiger Park Practice Facility
Located on the Louisiana State University campus, Tiger Park Practice Facility entails new construction of a 15,000sf athletic facility, which is dedicated to the University’s Lady Tigers Softball Team. Designed by Remson Haley Herpin Architects, the facility is comprised of a 14,500sf indoor practice facility and a dedicated 2,049sf cardio and weight training space. The performance center incorporates a full sized custom and motorized netting that covers the whole surface. The state-of-the-art facility also adds wired electricity for the staff and players to have multiple batting practices at one time, and, a custom multi-camera system for the staff and players to review film post practice. Custom turf resembles real grass at Tiger Park in terms of performance, and all the lighting in the facility is energy efficient with impact-resistant LED fixtures. The Lady Tigers also have access to 517 square feet of storage space and 240 square foot locker room area.
