Hotel Zeppelin (Formerly Prescott Hotel)

Located on Post Street in Downtown San Francisco, the Hotel Zeppelin is a historic resource identified by the Foundation for San Francisco Architectural Heritage. The hotel has four floors of guestrooms above the adjacent 555 Post Street building, so two separate buildings with two separate aging infrastructure systems had to be reconciled. The remodel included replacing all guestroom baths and reconfiguring the floors to add 32 additional guestrooms to the hotel. The scope of work included a full transformation of all the public spaces, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems. The project was completed on time and under budget. This result was attributed to a complete collaborative effort between the owner, design team, contractors and specialty supplier and subcontractors who effectively completed the many detailed and technically challenging facets of this project. The renovation rebrands the hotel as a new seductive experience inspired by the SF artists, writers, poets, and musicians who broke the rules and changed the world.
